Protecting Health Information
Connected Mind® with Fast Check® supports healthcare screening through authenticated access, role-based permissions, encrypted transmission and storage, and audit records. Access to protected workflows is governed by user permissions and the selected healthcare organization.
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) managed services for application hosting and storage. Configured clinical document delivery uses secure Direct Messaging through MaxMD. Business associate agreements are in place with AWS and MaxMD for their respective services.
HIPAA and HITECH
When Connected Mind creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information (PHI) on behalf of a healthcare customer, we operate as a business associate under our customer agreements. Our safeguards support the protection of electronic health information through controlled access, audit records, and configured clinical delivery workflows.
Platform Security
Connected Mind uses authenticated portal access, role-based authorization, and cloud infrastructure controls to limit access to customer data. Audit records support review of supported clinical access and administrative activity.
The platform supports modern sign-in flows, including email code and passkey-based authentication where enabled. Report, training, kiosk, and remote screening workflows are designed to use controlled access paths rather than open public access to protected data.
Interoperability and Delivery
Connected Mind® supports secure electronic exchange workflows, including C-CDA generation and delivery options such as secure Direct Messaging when configured for a customer. Available delivery paths depend on each customer's implementation, EHR configuration, and enabled platform features.
Request a Security Review
Healthcare organizations can request our Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and additional security documentation to support their review. Available materials describe our application architecture, data handling, access controls, and third-party connections.
